HRU Executive Officers
The Officers of the Corporation shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Director of Referees.
Each Officer shall be a resident of the State of Hawaii, be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, and be CIPP compliant. Each Officer shall hold office for two (2) years or until death, resignation, or removal hereunder.
President
Organize and chair Union and Executive committee meetings
Control day-to-day business affairs of the Corporation
Administer the activities of the other officers and committees of the union
Encourage membership
With the help of members, determine the union objectives and work towards their achievement
Presiding over all meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee
Representing the best interests of the union, it’s Members, and it’s individuals of Rugby Union Football
All orders and resolutions of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee to be carried into effect
Executing any contracts or other instruments authorized by the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee

President’s Deputy
assists the President with duties and carries out addition duties as assigned by the President
being the primary person of contact for the Board of Directors
Organizing and coordinating league fixtures, playoffs, championships, and tournaments within all divisions of rugby football in the HRU working with the Board of Directors.
Organizing and coordinating select sides
Establishing personnel as needed by the union to perform all duties.
Secretary
Custody of the records and documents
Causing all notices to be given in accordance with provisions of the Bylaws or by law.
Prepare the agenda for union and executive committee meetings
Keep minutes of meeting and publish them
Responsibility for all inter and intra HRU correspondence and communications
Compile, maintain, and polish the union membership directory
Counsel the union and its committees on rules and procedure and ensure that these are followed.
Treasurer
Having care, custody and control of the funds, securities, and financial records of the corporation
Depositing all moneys involved with the HRU in banks, trust companies, or other depositories as may be designated by the Board of Directors
Having charge of the disbursement of funds of the Corporation accordance with the directions of the Board of Directors
Keeping correct and complete records of account, including a record of receipts and disbursements of the corporation
Rendering to the Board of Directors a report of the financial conditions and operations of the corporation.
Preparing a budget for adoption at the annual general meeting of the Board of Directors
Director of Competitions
The Director-Competitions" shall manage all aspects of competitions among the members clubs/teams, including scheduling, eligibility, match-day procedures, and disputes arising our of competitions. Working directly with the VP.
